1. Introduction

Friends whom Allah has blessed, psychologically and scientifically, humans are beings who constantly seek reward and recognition. We’re willing to work overtime for a bonus, or study all night for a high grade. Yet all worldly rewards are transient: they wear out with time and are limited by our lifespan.Islam redirects this instinct to seek reward toward something far higher and eternal: investing for the Hereafter. When we do good deeds, Allah ﷻ does not merely multiply the result mathematically—He multiplies it with the boundless calculation of His mercy.

Allah ﷻ says:

“Whoever comes with a good deed will have ten times the like thereof; and whoever comes with an evil deed will not be recompensed except the like thereof; and they will not be wronged.” (QS. Al-An‘ām: 160)

In the Hereafter, there is a place whose excellence no technology, however advanced, can imagine today.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in a ḥadīth qudsī, Allah ﷻ said:

أَعْدَدْتُ لِعِبَادِي الصَّالِحِينَ مَا لَا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ، وَلَا أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ، وَلَا خَطَرَ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ

“I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever conceived.” (HR. Bukhārī and Muslim)

2. Lessons and Message

The excellence of the Hereafter teaches us the value of _ikhlāṣ_—sincerity. When we help others and they forget our kindness, our spirit does not become fragile. Why? Because we know our record of reward is being processed in the “Bank of Heaven” that never goes bankrupt. Focus on Allah’s evaluation, not on people’s applause.Let us recall the story of Bilāl ibn Rabāḥ. In this world, he was a former slave whose chest was once crushed under a black stone in the scorching sun for holding fast to his faith. By worldly social status, he was at the bottom. But in the Hereafter? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said he heard the sound of Bilāl’s sandals walking ahead of him in Paradise. Imagine—a man once humiliated on earth, whose footsteps were already resounding in Paradise before he even passed away. That is the justice of the Hereafter.Life in this world is like transiting in an airport lounge for 2 hours before a flight to your dream destination. Is it rational to spend all your money renovating the chairs in that lounge? Of course not. You would save your money to enjoy yourself in the city you’re heading to. This world is the waiting room, and the Hereafter is our eternal destination. Don’t spend your energy on making the transit lounge luxurious. We often have the mentality of a “stingy investor” toward Allah. We want a reward as big as Mount Uḥud, but when the mosque’s donation box passes by, our hands suddenly tremble and automatically reach for the crumpled, lowest-denomination bill in our pocket. Yet when it comes to online shopping or topping up a game, our fingers fly to hit the checkout button. Remember, the quality of the “package” we receive in the Hereafter depends on the quality of the “transfer” of our deeds in this world. Don’t expect VIP facilities if your capital is minimal!

3. Conclusion and Closing

Great reward and the excellence of the Hereafter are not just bedtime stories; they are the certain future reality we will all face. Pursuing the Hereafter does not make us poor in this world—in fact, it makes our hearts rich and at peace

.Brothers and sisters, starting today, let us change the orientation of our lives. Do every good deed—even a smile or removing a thorn from the road—with the intention of securing the best place in Paradise. May we all be gathered together in the eternity of His bliss
