1. Introduction

Neuroscientifically, the first three years of a child’s life are the golden period for brain structure formation. A mother is the emotional “architect” who builds a child’s synaptic network through love and character education. Scientifically, a mother’s touch and voice create a permanent sense of security in a child’s soul. When a mother educates with patience, she is actually planting the seeds of social stability. A strong society is born from the hands of an emotionally intelligent mother, because she is shaping individuals with high empathy, integrity, and mental resilience

Evidence from the Qur’an and Hadith

"And We have enjoined upon man for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years." ( (Athar):

"I am the first for whom the gate of Paradise will be opened, then a woman will come forward ahead of me. I will ask, 'Who is this?' It will be said: 'This is a woman who devoted herself [refraining from remarrying] to raising her orphans.' " (HR. Abu Ya’la & Al-Khathib)

2. Lessons and Messages

Being a stay-at-home mother who educates her children is not “unemployment,” but the most professional devotion in the sight of Allah. If the world values a teacher for educating one class, then Allah values a mother because she is the first school (Al-Ummu Madrasatul Ula). A mother who is honest and trustworthy in educating will produce a generation that is also honest and trustworthy. This is the greatest ongoing charity that will not cease even after the body is gone.Imagine a scene at the gate of Paradise. The Messenger of Allah SAW, the noblest of humans, is surprised to see a woman so determined to enter Paradise first. Who is this remarkable woman? She is not a war general or a wealthy king. She is a mother who spent her nights in prayer, her days in the fatigue of teaching, and her whole life dedicated so her children would know Allah. Allah honored her so highly that she is permitted to “compete” with His Beloved at the gate of eternity.A mother who educates her child is like a gem cutter. A child is born as a rough precious stone. Every piece of advice is a chisel stroke, every hug is a polish, and every reprimand is a smoothing process. Without a mother’s touch, that gem might remain an ordinary stone. But in the hands of a knowledgeable and God-conscious mother, that child will shine as a diamond that illuminates society with goodness and honesty.A child asked his mother, "Mom, why do you bother teaching me to be honest and trustworthy? These days lots of people cheat but still succeed." His mother smiled and replied, "Son, I’m in a 'race' with the Messenger of Allah at the gate of Paradise. If you become a dishonest person, I’ll be disqualified from that race. You want to see Mom win the race against the Prophet, right?" The child fell silent and answered, "Whoa, if the opponent is the Prophet, I have to be the most honest person in Indonesia so Mom comes in first!" The lesson: A mother’s upbringing is the strongest motivation for a child to become a great person.

3. Conclusion

Dear brothers and sisters, the mother is the main pillar of civilization. The duty of educating children is not just a routine, but the greatest deed that can place someone standing right behind the ranks of the Messenger of Allah on the way to Paradise. Let us honor mothers, appreciate their sacrifices, and realize that the future of this Ummah lies in the quality of tarbiyah they provide at home
