1. Opening
Friends who are blessed by Allah, within this universe there is a colossal system that works scientifically, actively, effectively, and can never be intervened upon by human opinion or debate. That system is called Sunnatullah [The Laws of Allah]. If the earth’s law of gravity makes objects fall down regardless of who drops them, then Allah’s spiritual law is far more precise: whoever dares to violate the rights of others—whether driven by greed or ignorance—destruction will surely come knocking at his door.Allah’s Law never dozes off, never rests, and does not know the word “compromise.” Allah SWT affirms the certainty of His law in the Qur’an:
فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا ۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا
“Then you will never find any change in the way of Allah, and you will never find any deviation in the way of Allah.”[QS. Fāṭir: 43]
When a person uses power or ignorance to oppress others, he is challenging a fundamental force that is truly terrifying. Allah SWT says:
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
“Indeed, the seizure of your Lord is severe.”[QS. Al-Burūj: 12]
Rasulullah ﷺ also reminded us through a profound hadith about how the prayer of the oppressed pierces the laws of heaven without being blocked by anything:
وَاتَّقِ دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ حِجَابٌ
“And fear the prayer of the oppressed, for there is no barrier [ḥijāb] between it and Allah.”[HR. Bukhārī]
2. Lessons and Message
The greatest moral lesson from this concept is the importance of having self-control. Public opinion can be manipulated, man-made law can be bought, and ignorance can be used as an excuse in this world. But before Sunnatullah, every action has an equal reaction. Harming fellow humans is the fastest way to invite unstoppable ruin into our own lives.
There is a true, heartbreaking story about an old farmer in a village. The only piece of land he owned to feed his family was forcibly seized by a wealthy businessman using forged documents. The farmer lost in the worldly court because he was an ignorant man who did not understand criminal law. When the bulldozer leveled his rice crop ready for harvest, the old farmer did not retaliate with violence. Sobbing while embracing his starving child, he prostrated on the muddy soil and raised his hands to the sky: “O Allah, I do not know how to demand justice in this world, so I entrust this matter to Your court that never sleeps .”Only a few months later, Sunnatullah took effect. The wealthy businessman suddenly went completely bankrupt due to an unforeseen disaster, and all his wealth vanished without a trace. The incident was sorrowful for the businessman, yet it became proof that Heaven’s law never takes a holiday.
Let’s use a slightly humorous yet wisdom-filled analogy. Imagine you’re sitting relaxed, and a mosquito lands on your forehead. Annoyed and feeling far stronger than the mosquito, you gather all your strength, then—_SMACK!_—you slap your own forehead with full force. The mosquito might fly away laughing, but your forehead ends up swollen, red, and you feel dizzy. Well, a person who oppresses or violates the rights of others is exactly like someone slapping a mosquito on his own forehead. They think they are destroying someone weak, but according to the law of Sunnatullah, they are actually delivering a hard blow to their own face and future. So, don’t be proud if you succeed in hurting others; you are actually engineering an eternal “bump” for yourself!
3. Conclusion and Closing
Brothers and sisters , In conclusion, never be deceived by the delay in Allah’s punishment. Sunnatullah that never rests is working with precision behind the scenes of our lives. If today we plant thorns on someone else’s path, then prepare for the day when our own foot will step on those thorns with far more excruciating pain.
Let us guard our hands, tongues, and actions so we do not harm others. Be a human who spreads benefit, so that the natural law that returns to us is the law of mercy and blessings from Allah SWT
