Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

1. Opening

In the world of science, there is a principle called Irreducible Complexity. Examples include the mechanism of blood clotting or the motor of a bacterial flagellum. If even one protein is missing, the entire system fails. Scientifically, such precise order could never arise from chaotic chance. The universe is not just a pile of matter—it is a symphony of meticulous mathematics. When we gaze at the order of galaxies or the microscopic detail of our body’s cells, our souls find peace, realizing that we are in the care of the Most Expert Hand. Not a single event in your life is a “failed product.”

Allah SWT invites us to see His work as a path to knowing Him:

كُلَّ شَيْءٍ إِنَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ

[It is] the work of Allah who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Acquainted with what you do.” (QS. An-Naml: 88)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also emphasized that the beauty of creation reflects the Beauty of the Creator:

إِنَّ اللهَ جَمِيلٌ يُحِبُّ الْجَمَالُ

“Indeed, Allah is Beautiful and loves beauty.” (HR. Muslim)

2. Lessons and Message

The principle Al-ṣan‘ah tadullu ‘alaṣ-ṣāni‘ [the work points to the Maker] teaches us to value ourselves. If you are the work of the Almighty Creator, then you possess infinite worth. Do not let human standards—like follower counts or beauty trends—make you feel lowly. Belittling yourself is the same as doubting the quality of the “Hand” that shaped you. A convert once shared that he found God not in a house of worship, but through a telescope. When he saw the details of lunar craters and millions of stars moving in their orbits without colliding, he wept and said, “It’s impossible that a painting this magnificent has no Painter. I want to prostrate to the One who controls all of this.” Often, we are too busy staring at the “painting” of the world to seek out who the “Painter” is. If you found a luxury Rolex watch in the middle of an uninhabited desert, would you believe it formed by itself from dust and wind over millions of years? Of course not! You would be certain there was a highly skilled watchmaker behind it. If even a small watch requires a maker, how could we say this universe—far more complex—exists without a Creator? We are often in awe of people who build advanced robots. We say, “Wow, the maker must be a genius!” Yet that robot dies when its battery runs out, and short-circuits when it gets wet. Meanwhile, humans? Our “battery” is just a plate of rice, yet we can think, love, even post angsty statuses on social media. Strangely, we admire the robot’s maker but often forget to praise the Maker of humans. We are like people who praise the greatness of a phone but have no idea who owns the company!

3. Conclusion and Closing

My blessed brothers and sisters, stop feeling alone. Look at your heartbeat, your breath, and the vast sky. All of it is God’s “signature” proving that He exists and He cares. You are His finest work, so live according to the manual He sent through His Messengers. May we always see His greatness in every inch of our lives
