1. Opening

Technically, a car is considered a complex machine because it consists of around 30,000 parts working together. But let’s compare that to you. The human body is made of about 37 trillion cells. If a car only has a physical engine, humans have two additional systems that no factory can ever produce: the Intellect as a logical navigation system, and the Ruh as an eternal energy source. Biologically, your cells renew themselves every second without you asking. This precision proves there is an “Operating System” far more sophisticated than any artificial intelligence. Realizing this complexity should bring peace to our souls, because we are under the control of the Most Meticulous Designer.

]Allah SWT invites us to compare human creations with His creation:

هَٰذَا خَلۡقُ ٱللَّهِ فَأَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦۚ بَلِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ

“This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those besides Him have created. In fact, the wrongdoers are in clear error. (QS. Luqmān: 11)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also reminded us about the spiritual nobility of humans:

اللَّهَ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَى صُوَرِكُمْ وَأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَلَكِنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ

“Indeed, Allah does not look at your appearances or your wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds.” (HR. Muslim)

2. Lessons and Message

The more expensive and complex a machine is, the stricter its operating rules. If we treat a car worth hundreds of millions with premium fuel and routine service according to the manual, then why do we—made of 37 trillion cells and a priceless ruh_—often live “recklessly”? Valuing yourself means placing your Intellect and _Ruh on the path set by the Creator.

There was once a great mechanic who lost his sight. One day, he felt a severely damaged car engine and just by listening to its sound, he knew which bolt was loose. Yet when asked about his life full of trials, he wept and said, “I can fix this machine with my hands, but my shattered heart can only be fixed by the One who breathed the ruh into my body. I fear losing connection with my Creator more than losing my sight.” He realized: no matter how advanced the body, without spiritual “service,” a human is just a lump of flesh.

Imagine you own a luxury car with 30,000 components, then you fill it with ditch water instead of gasoline and cooking oil instead of engine oil. What happens? The engine is destroyed. That’s what humans are like; if the Intellect is filled with sinful entertainment and the Ruh is filled with dirty worldly ambitions, then your 37-trillion-cell system will suffer “premature damage” in the form of stress, anxiety, and loss of blessing. We’re often strange. When the “Check Engine” light in our car turns on, we panic and rush to the workshop. But when the “indicator light” in our heart turns on—restlessness, insomnia, quick temper—we don’t “service” it at the mosque or open the Qur’an. Instead, we go “healing” by shopping for things we don’t need. Remember, humans are not cars; if a car stalls it can be pushed, but if faith stalls, Satan will push you off a cliff!

3. Conclusion and Closing

My blessed brothers and sisters, you are a masterpiece. With 37 trillion cells, a sharp intellect, and a pure ruh, you are too precious to live without direction. Don’t let this magnificent “engine” break down just because you refuse to read the Manual [the Qur’an]. Return to the rules of the Creator so your life runs smoothly until you reach the finish line in Paradise.
